About The Position

RNA Facilities Management is seeking an energetic janitor to maintain clean and orderly facilities by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. The role calls for some cleaning experience and basic knowledge of cleaning products. The position is part-time and on the PM shift in Troy, Michigan.

Requirements

• Manage time efficiently.
• Work effectively when supervisors are not present.
• Work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Use basic cleaning equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Some cleaning experience.
• Basic knowledge of various cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintain the building in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean spills using appropriate equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Complete tasks promptly with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
