About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Custodian for its Freezer Distribution Center in Taunton, Massachusetts. The custodian supports warehouse operations by maintaining clean, organized buildings. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. The position involves working in temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F. No experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with Fridays and Saturdays off. Pay starts at $20.52 per hour, including a $1.00 second-shift premium, with additional performance incentives and a freezer incentive of $0.80 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits and updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
