About The Position

This job is part of the Vocational Training Center's Ability One Federal Contract. Applicants are eligible and encouraged to apply for this position if they have a disability. The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is seeking a responsible, self-motivated individual for the part-time position of Custodian. Duties for the Custodian position will be performed at the Federal buildings located in downtown Fargo. The Federal contract this position falls under is intended to provide job opportunities to individuals with barriers to employment.

Requirements

• Applicant selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain the proper security clearance required by the Federal Contract. VTC will provide assistance with the security clearance process.

• Previous custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, meeting rooms and stairwells
• Vacuum all carpeted areas
• Dust furniture and fixtures as required
• Wash and sanitize all washroom floors, toilets and fixtures
• Clean all mirrors
• Clean entrances and exits including glass, doors and floors
• Clean and sanitize drinking fountains
• Perform other duties as assigned
