About The Position
Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957 and is one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. They offer janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC, and maintenance services for various properties across multiple islands. This specific role is for a full-time Custodian - Day Porter in Honolulu, HI.
Requirements
- Candidates must be capable of: Standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting a minimum of 20-30 lbs.
- Must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining the location space, which involves: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing
- Vacuuming and operating a side-by-side scrubbing machine for the floors
- Cleaning restrooms and storage areas
- Removing trash, replacing liners, and disposing of waste in designated areas
- Restocking supplies
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor
