About The Position
A dependable and hardworking Custodian is needed to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff at a facility in Tyler, Texas. The role supports the facility’s quality of care by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; restocking supplies; following safety and infection control protocols; and responding to housekeeping requests. The shift is 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and weekend work is required every weekend for the first 90 days. Compensation is $15.50 per hour, paid weekly.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented team player.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas daily.
- Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or supervisors.
