About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The role involves helping clients with daily living and personal care, providing companionship, and supporting safe, respectful care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the position is part-time. A minimum of three years of caregiving experience is required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
- Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
- Driver's license.
- Social Security card.
- Negative TB test results.
- CPR/First Aid certificate.
- Car insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
- Support safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions.
- Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
