About The Position

Rochester Dog Walkers is hiring part-time Dog Walkers and Pet Care Professionals to provide dog walks, puppy care, cat care, and pet sitting at clients’ homes in Monroe County. Employees travel between houses according to the company schedule. The role involves working outdoors and handling dogs of all sizes, including large dogs that pull on leash. Hours fluctuate based on client needs, with shifts listed as 9 a.m.–2 p.m., 10 a.m.–3 p.m., or 11 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus one weekend per month. The position is 20–30 hours per week and requires a commitment of at least six months.

Requirements

• Be over 18 years old.

• Be reliable, dependable, energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable working outdoors.
