About The Position

The Monster Minders is hiring a Dog Walker in Society Hill and Old City. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, working independently, and interacting with dogs. You will visit established clients, learn their dogs' routines, and provide reliable service. The position offers a supportive team environment with paid training and office assistance.

Requirements

• Monday through Friday availability during the hours listed above
• The stamina to comfortably walk 5 to 6 hours per day
• Strong written communication skills
• Professionalism and good time management
• Confidence handling dogs with a range of temperaments
• Reliable transportation between visits, such as a bike, scooter, motorcycle, or car
• Comfort working outdoors in every season
• A commitment to staying in the position for at least one year

Responsibilities

• Give dogs safe, attentive, one-on-one walks
• Follow each client’s care and home-entry instructions
• Travel between clients’ homes throughout the day
• Handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels
• Write thoughtful visit updates that keep clients informed
• Communicate questions, concerns, and changes to our office
• Participate in paid training and occasional paid staff meetings
