About The Position

GRBS is hiring a part-time Custodian at Wayland Union Schools. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with one scheduled weekend per month, for 25 hours per week. The pay rate is $16 per hour. The role serves public school customers by performing cleaning tasks and following the building map and shift requirements. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, be customer-service focused, dependable, self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable.
• Individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment due to Michigan public school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Communicate mindfully and respectfully with everyone.
• Complete work according to the building map and shift.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, and remove trash.
• Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
