About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time, second-shift Custodian at Wayland Union Schools. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with one scheduled weekend per month, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., for 40 hours per week. Pay is $16 per hour.

The Custodian serves public school customers by cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, following the building map and shift requirements. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, customer-service focused, dependable, self-motivated, hard-working, and reliable.
• Individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment due to Michigan public school requirements.
