About The Position

A Custodian performs a variety of custodial duties inside and outside Trail King facilities. The role includes maintaining lunchrooms, restrooms, exterior property areas, water fountains, and emergency eyewash and shower stations; managing cleaning and lunchroom supply inventory; and cleaning contaminated areas following employee injuries involving blood. The employee may perform additional duties as requested.

The position involves standing, walking, sitting, climbing, using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reaching, talking, and hearing. Employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and may use ladders to work at heights up to 12 feet. The work environment includes temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and proximity to moving machinery. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain employee lunchrooms, including disposing of trash and recyclables, sanitizing tables, benches, counters, and sinks, and cleaning floors, walls, lights, windows, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior building and property areas, including disposing of trash and recyclables, cleaning outside cigarette containers, and cleaning outside lunch tables as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and check supplies once per shift.
• Clean and sanitize water fountains, emergency eyewash stations, and emergency shower stations.
• Use proper procedures to clean work areas, equipment, and wash facilities after employee injuries involving blood contamination.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning and lunchroom supplies.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
