About The Position
The School Custodian is responsible for all assigned duties required for the maintenance and upkeep of the school facilities and grounds. This 206-day position is located at Hurricane Town Elementary School. The position is evaluated by the Principal/Assistant Principal. The current daily schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Salary is based on experience and education level in accordance with the Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule, plus a competitive benefits package.
Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma, GED, or TASC.
- Hold the “Custodian” classification.
- Complete the required custodial in-service training.
Responsibilities
- Perform all assigned duties required for maintenance and upkeep of the school facilities and grounds.
- Carry out the responsibilities and duties outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
