About The Position

The Custodian maintains the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of offices, restrooms, break areas, locker rooms, hand wash stations, warehouse spaces, and other common areas throughout the facility. The role performs routine housekeeping and supplemental cleaning to support food safety, quality, and audit requirements; maintains accurate cleaning records; replenishes sanitation and restroom supplies; and follows chemical-handling and workplace safety procedures. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Saturdays as needed. The schedule may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of sanitation and janitorial practices, cleaning methods, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while adapting to changing priorities.
• Sound judgment, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

• Three to six months of janitorial, custodial, or sanitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of offices, restrooms, break areas, locker rooms, hand wash stations, warehouse spaces, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, remove debris, clean spills, sanitize surfaces, wash windows, and complete routine housekeeping according to established schedules and procedures.
• Perform supplemental cleaning and sanitation activities as needed to support food safety, quality, and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate cleaning records and logs and ensure tasks are completed according to company standards.
• Monitor and replenish sanitation and restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely, identify workplace hazards, follow safety protocols, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
