About The Position

Verde Clean is hiring custodians to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at TSMC in Phoenix, Arizona. Employees may be assigned to construction cleanup or office cleaning. Available schedules are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM. Both shifts pay $17 per hour. Construction cleanup includes cleaning construction areas and common spaces, removing dust, debris, and construction-related waste, preparing completed areas for occupancy, following site safety and PPE requirements, and cleaning restrooms. Office cleaning includes cleaning offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and restrooms; vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces; replenishing supplies; and emptying trash. The role also involves routine floor care, cleaning and disinfecting shared spaces, sanitizing desks and high-touch surfaces, removing waste, restocking supplies, reporting hazards and maintenance concerns, and providing professional customer service. The position requires extended standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting up to 35 pounds, and bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive cleaning. Work may take place in active construction areas or office settings.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety procedures.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 35 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
Comfort working in active construction areas and office settings.

Nice To Haves

Janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean construction areas and common spaces, removing dust, debris, and construction-related waste.
Prepare newly completed construction areas for occupancy.
Follow site safety requirements and PPE protocols.
Clean offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
Dust and disinfect surfaces; wipe and sanitize desks, counters, and high-touch areas.
Empty trash receptacles and remove trash and debris.
Restock facility supplies.
Report safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
