About The Position

GRBS is hiring a full-time School Building Lead custodian for Vicksburg Community Schools. The position works Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The lead trains new hires, coordinates staffing communication, checks in with customers, verifies cleaning quality, and secures the building. Custodial duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and other cleaning tasks as assigned. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have valid identification, and have reliable transportation to and from work. Due to Michigan public schools requirements, individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds will not qualify for employment.

Responsibilities

• Train new hires on how to clean buildings.
• Confirm and communicate staffing.
• Conduct customer check-ins.
• Ensure cleaning quality by checking work, conducting walk-downs, and taking daily pictures.
• Secure the building.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash, and perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
