About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring clean and sanitary facilities, including offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots, in accordance with company safety procedures, federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Ensures clean and sanitary facilities according to company safety procedures and guidelines and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Wears personal protective equipment, empties waste receptacles and recycle bins, dusts, sweeps, and wet mops, strips and waxes floors, cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and showers, vacuums and spot cleans carpets, cleans electronic devices, and identifies and reacts to additional cleaning needs.
  • Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events, performing minor maintenance and repair activities, collecting and transporting recyclables, disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers, and reporting facility issues to management.
  • Ensures quality custodial services by assisting Manager with inventory, project implementation, and scheduling, planning and conducting meetings with associates, inspecting projects, developing and implementing modifications and improvements, recommending specifications and scheduling for contracts, and addressing staffing shortages and emergencies.
  • Provides administrative support to the department by ordering materials and supplies, providing input into the development of the operating budget, and monitoring and tracking expenditures of the section.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
