About The Position

Ensures clean and sanitary facilities, including offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots, according to company safety procedures, guidelines, and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes wearing personal protective equipment, emptying waste and recycling bins, dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and showers, vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, cleaning electronic devices, and identifying and reacting to additional cleaning needs. Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events, performing minor maintenance and repair activities, collecting and transporting recyclables, disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers, and reporting facility issues to management. Provides administrative support by ordering materials and supplies, contributing to the operating budget, and monitoring expenditures. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities, and adapting to change. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Wears personal protective equipment, empties waste receptacles and recycle bins, dusts, sweeps, and wet mops.
  • Strips and waxes floors, cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and showers, vacuums and spot cleans carpets.
  • Cleans electronic devices such as microwaves, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles.
  • Identifies and reacts to additional cleaning needs.
  • Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events.
  • Performs minor maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collects and transports recyclables.
  • Disassembles and cleans drug dispensers.
  • Reports facility issues to management.
  • Assists Manager with inventory, project implementation, and scheduling.
  • Plans and conducts meetings with associates.
  • Inspects projects, develops and implements modifications and improvements.
  • Recommends specifications and scheduling for contracts.
  • Addresses staffing shortages and emergencies.
  • Recognizes and resolves deficiencies in the facility environment.
