About The Position

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining facility cleanliness to Company standards. This will include typical custodial tasks such as floor and waste management as well as other maintenance tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager. This position is flexible with part-time or full-time employment options and the schedule that best meets the needs of the selected candidate. Hourly compensation range between $22 - 26 based on experience. Benefit supported role for employment commitment of 30 hours or greater. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have and maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s license (ODL) or obtain ODL within 30 days
  • Must carry and maintain personal vehicle insurance
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

  • Preference will be given for those with related work experience in custodial maintenance or related area

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities are exceptionally clean and organized
  • Empties trash/refuse containers
  • Disinfects, cleans, and maintains common employee areas, including restrooms and kitchens
  • Selects and uses appropriate PPE provided by Company to ensure a safe working environment
  • Removes, installs, cleans and maintains product dispensing equipment such as soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and other dispensers an assigned
  • Changes batteries, tests for proper operations and adjusts dispensing quantities
  • Cleans and maintains plumbing fixtures; changes batteries in automated faucets, urinals and toilets, removes and cleans aerators/screens, installs automatic flush valves, tests fixtures and adjusts for proper operation
  • Washes and cleans mirrors to a streak free finish
  • Plans and performs projects, requests supplies, performs work requests, and requests equipment repairs
  • Performs routine maintenance on all floor surfaces, including carpet, vinyl, and tile
  • Wipes down and cleans all sinks to include faucets and soap dispensers
  • Uses the appropriate cleaning method to ensure all toilets and urinals are cleaned and free of stains
  • Sweeps and mops floors to ensure they are free of dirt, debris, and foreign material
  • Transports trash to the appropriate collection point and deposits
  • Disinfects, cleans, and maintains common client areas, including conference rooms and lobbies
  • Cleans whiteboards, dusts and wipes furniture, dusts and wipes horizontal surfaces
  • Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors to ensure they are free of dirt, debris or foreign material
  • Scope of work may increase to align with Company initiatives
  • Performs relevant job duties as requested
