About The Position

The Custodian II assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events, performing minor maintenance and repair activities, collecting and transporting recyclables, disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers, and reporting facility issues such as roof leaks or power outages to management. This role ensures clean and sanitary facilities, including offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, and parking lots, in accordance with company safety procedures and guidelines, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, state health department regulations). Responsibilities include wearing personal protective equipment, emptying waste receptacles and recycle bins, dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and showers, vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, and cleaning electronic devices, windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles, while also identifying and addressing additional cleaning needs. The Custodian II is expected to comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, complete work assignments by utilizing available resources, collaborate with various stakeholders, identify priorities, communicate progress, and adapt to feedback and change.

Responsibilities

Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events.
Performing minor maintenance and repair activities.
