About The Position

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment. The role assists with day-to-day facility operations, performs routine cleaning, maintains cleaning equipment and materials in safe and sanitary working condition, and sets up and tears down for special facility events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with fellow team members and Hanover employees.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Required to use chemicals and aerosols correctly and safely.
• Will be exposed to bio-hazards, including body fluids.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Supervisor or Manager with the day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility, including cleaning kitchens and break rooms, vacuuming office areas, stocking and cleaning restrooms, and sweeping or scrubbing warehouse floors.
• Dust office furniture, partitions, high and low ledges and moldings, and venetian blinds.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
• Set up and tear down for special facility events.
