About The Position

Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, the Custodian II performs routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility and maintains buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. The position supports the Maintenance & Operations department. This is an in-house vacancy for current IUSD employees holding a permanent position; applicants must have completed their six-month probationary period in their current position. Approximate schedule: Friday 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be a current IUSD employee holding a permanent position; substitute employees should apply to the posting for outside candidates.
• Must have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position before applying.
• Any combination of training and experience equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities.
