Custodian II: Weekends - 19.75 Hours/Week (Outside Candidates)
About The Position
Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, the Custodian II performs routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility and maintains buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition. This position supports the Maintenance & Operations department. The approximate schedule is Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 19.75 hours per week. Newly hired employees begin at Step 1 on the salary schedule. The Irvine Unified School District serves more than 36,000 PK–12 students across its early childhood learning center and schools. Its schools have been nationally recognized for comprehensive programs in academics, the arts, and athletics.
Requirements
- Any combination of training and experience equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the listed knowledge and abilities.
