About The Position
Shawnee Health – Custodian I Join Southern Illinois’ leading healthcare organization, with over 380 team members who believe that in taking care of each other and our patients and clients, we create new opportunities for success and bring big dreams to life. Shawnee Health Service is seeking a part-time Custodian I for our Shawnee Health Marion Pediatric Dental location. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 5pm to 10pm. This position reports directly to Maintenance II.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years experience, preferred
Responsibilities
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean and sanitize high touch areas
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
