About The Position

The Maple Shade School District is hiring a night Custodian Class III at Maple Shade High School. The position involves custodial and maintenance work, with knowledge of plant operations and maintenance, cleaning methods and procedures, heating and ventilation, and proper handling of hazardous materials. The position is available January 1, 2027. Salary is as per MSCMA Contract.

Requirements

• Knowledge of plant operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation.
• Knowledge of proper hazardous-material handling.
• Ability to perform well in a team environment and be task-completion oriented.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Must pass required physical and medical tests.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residence.
• Valid driver's license.

• Black Seal low-pressure certification preferred.
