About The Position

Join the team at Lakeland Village in Medical Lake and help keep the facility clean and safe. Lakeland Village is a home for people with developmental disabilities, and residents live, eat, sleep, and spend their days there. Clean, sanitized spaces support staff in their work and help residents feel safe. The Custodian 1 performs cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the facility, including floor care, disinfecting surfaces and bathrooms, washing windows, vacuuming carpets, restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning porch areas, and removing snow when necessary. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with all state holidays off. Evening and night shifts include a shift differential in addition to standard compensation. Positions performed onsite at this location at least three days per week may also be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay on top of the advertised salary.

Requirements

• Must be age 18 or older to be considered for the position.

• Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, top scrub, and polish floors.
• Clean and disinfect walls, doors, counters, ledges, furniture, and equipment.
• Wash windows and glass, and vacuum carpet and carpet runners.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, tubs, and shower rooms, including toilets and sinks.
• Keep dispensers stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and air freshener.
• Empty trash containers and clean and wash porch areas.
• Remove snow when necessary.
