About The Position

This role involves overseeing and participating in pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, and window washing. The position also requires performing repairs and maintenance, enforcing facility policies, and assisting with event setup and teardown. The individual will be responsible for inspecting completed work, issuing supplies, and maintaining inventory. Knowledge of groundskeeping and operating specialized equipment like extractor machines is necessary. The role may require working in elevated areas and assisting other departments.

Requirements

Must enforce all policies and procedures of the facility.
Must be able to work on elevated areas including ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
Must have the knowledge or be able to operate extractor machine.
Should have knowledge and or experience in groundskeeping, cutting grass, maintaining curb appeal.

Responsibilities

Oversee and participate with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing and waxing.
Assist in training new hires or subcontracted services in the proper use of equipment.
Enforce all policies and procedures of the facility.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Participate in execution of life safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to supervisor or manager.
Review daily assignments and special projects.
Inspect completed work to determine that it meets the acceptable requirements.
Issue supplies and equipment.
Compile a list to order all necessary inventories of equipment and supplies.
Assist other Operations Department divisions to expedite set-up and teardown events whenever possible.
Perform other duties assigned.
