This role serves as the main point of contact for Goodwill Industries at the worksite. The Custodial Working Supervisor must be knowledgeable of the statement of work and ensure all work is performed to contract specifications. This position is responsible for maintaining equipment, supplies, personnel information, and time sheets. The supervisor will also orient and train new custodial workers, supervise, discipline, and recommend discharge of custodial workers, and schedule custodial employees with a focus on controlling payroll costs and ensuring adequate coverage for customer service and quality. Additionally, the supervisor will motivate employees to reach production guidelines, conduct periodic inspections of work performance, prepare personnel and payroll records, and inventory and request supplies. The role involves inspecting contract equipment, acting as a positive role model, addressing customer complaints, and notifying the Project Manager of any issues. Compliance with personnel policies, safety procedures, and ensuring daily safety meetings and monthly employee meetings (including safety) are conducted and documented are key responsibilities. Hourly floor checks must also be conducted and documented. The position requires a valid driver's license and insurability by the Company's automotive insurance carrier, with adherence to all traffic/safety laws. The supervisor will perform all duties as required per contract/Goodwill management and any additional duties as assigned.
