About The Position

Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to help provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. The position cleans and services all areas of the hospital according to established procedures, moves supplies throughout the hospital, and occasionally moves light equipment or furniture in response to department setup requests. It also performs environmental services and cleaning duties to maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition, as well as other duties as assigned. This is a casual position with an FTE of 0.0. The work schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and the role requires working every other weekend. The salary rate is $20.94 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred.
