About The Position

Regions Hospital is seeking a positive, cheerful, honest, and hardworking Custodial Worker to help provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. The position performs cleaning and environmental services throughout the hospital, moves supplies, and occasionally moves light equipment or furniture for department setup requests. The role is casual, with a stated FTE of 0.0, and has a work schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., including every other weekend.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.
• Work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
• Move supplies throughout the hospital.
• Occasionally move light equipment or furniture in response to department setup requests.
• Perform environmental services and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary hospital.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
