Custodial Worker 1
About The Position
The Pennsylvania State Police is hiring a Custodial Worker 1 to maintain clean, safe, secure, and orderly buildings and grounds at Troop F Headquarters. The role supports public safety operations by ensuring staff and visitors have a well-maintained environment. Duties include floor care; cleaning and restocking restrooms; removing trash and recycling; cleaning windows, mirrors, blinds, walls, and furniture; maintaining custodial tools, products, and storage areas; and performing outdoor work such as clearing snow and ice, applying salt, sweeping walkways, and removing debris. This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework is not available. Applicants must be able to perform the essential job functions and pass a background investigation and meet CJIS compliance requirements. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, buff, and wax floors.
- Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, and showers, and stock needed restroom supplies.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and place materials in outdoor bins.
- Clean windows, mirrors, blinds, walls, and furniture.
- Maintain custodial tools, products, and storage areas.
- Clear snow and ice, apply salt, sweep walkways, and remove outdoor debris.
