About The Position

Keeps the assigned area clean and orderly. Custodial workers at the Main Plant are responsible for performing these duties. The position is full-time and based at Baptist Health South Florida in Miami, Florida, with a day shift and an hourly salary range of $16.00 to $16.00.

Requirements

Three months of cleaning experience.
Prior related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to communicate problems to the immediate supervisor.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Sweep floors to remove dirt and trash.
Mop floors and step wells to remove soil and dirt.
Use peroxide chemical detergent and NABC cleaning/disinfectant products.
Wear required personal protective equipment, including goggles, gloves, and a mask.
Lift as required.
Perform other duties as assigned that are common to this type of work.
Communicate problems to the immediate supervisor.
Respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
Listen attentively and request clarification when needed.
Treat people respectfully, work with integrity, and uphold organizational values.
Monitor the quality and timeliness of work and follow safety procedures.
Adapt to workplace changes, maintain punctuality, follow instructions, and offer or request help when needed.
