About The Position

This is an on-call position that may lead to full-time work for candidates who are interested. The Custodial Technician (E-Tech) helps maintain the cleanliness and safety of campus buildings by performing general and specialized cleaning, event setup, and other facilities duties. Additional assignments may include snow removal, minor maintenance, and handling recyclable or hazardous materials. Special assignments may involve pool or recycling responsibilities. The role requires comfort using hand tools and cleaning equipment and following safety protocols.

Pay is $20.72 per hour under the union contract, with additional pay depending on the assigned shift. Employment is contingent upon acceptable post-offer background-check, physical-screening, and drug-screening results. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust campus buildings.
• Sanitize restrooms and remove trash.
• Set up for events.
• Perform snow removal and minor maintenance as assigned.
• Handle recyclable or hazardous materials as assigned.
• Perform special assignments that may include pool or recycling responsibilities.
• Use hand tools and cleaning equipment while following safety protocols.
