About The Position

Life Protect 24/7 is seeking a self-motivated Custodial Supervisor to lead the custodial team, maintain high-quality cleaning standards, and provide ongoing employee training and support. The role involves hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and organization to maintain an effective custodial operation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with occasional overnight shifts for training. Pay is $19 per hour.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive training for new custodial employees.
Provide ongoing support and training during PM shifts, particularly on supplies, chemicals, and procedures; multiple PM shifts are required.
Perform quality-control checks on AM and PM custodial shifts.
Work alongside custodial staff daily to maintain cleanliness and facility upkeep through hands-on leadership.
Address cleaning-related concerns independently before escalating them to upper management.
Handle non-emergency on-site issues and report them during weekly check-ins without unnecessary disruptions.
Cover lunch breaks and arrange shift coverage when needed.
Manage leave requests and call-outs to ensure all shifts are adequately staffed.
Ensure AM staff arrive on time and complete their designated shifts.
Lead by example and demonstrate professionalism and accountability.
Maintain confidentiality and handle disciplinary matters privately.
Schedule meetings with upper management about non-emergency concerns that require their input.
Foster teamwork and shared accountability by actively working with custodial staff.
Oversee supply inventory and ordering, with minimal assistance from maintenance staff except for large deliveries or absences.
Ensure cleaning supplies and laundry operations are well-managed and fully stocked.
