About The Position

Endless Clubs is building a global movement to democratize game development, starting with campus clubs. This internship focuses on creating the operational playbook and curriculum for these clubs. The intern will be responsible for writing foundational documents that will guide students in starting and running clubs, organizing game jams, mentoring younger students, and developing their skills to become game makers. The goal is to empower students to improve their career readiness by working on the skills needed to create and market games.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills, capable of producing clear, plain-English content.
  • Proficiency in instructional design, with an understanding of how readers use documents.
  • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, curriculum writing, or running a club.
  • Ability to work efficiently and produce a significant volume of polished material (over 100 pages) within the summer program.
  • No AI-generated content is desired for application materials.

Responsibilities

  • Write the Club Starter Guide, covering club initiation, meeting management, member recruitment, and budget management.
  • Write the Game Jam Playbook, detailing how to organize a 48-hour campus game jam.
  • Write the Mentorship Curriculum for mentoring K-12 students, including safeguarding measures.
  • Write the Pro Pathway Guide, focusing on turning bounties into portfolio pieces and securing paid summer opportunities.
  • Build the initial version of the Workshop Library, including at least 12 plug-and-play sessions for club leaders.
  • Write the Faculty Advisor One-Pager to encourage professor involvement.
  • Conduct user testing on all created documents with at least three college students before finalization.
