About The Position

Southern Cross Catholic College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Curriculum Leader - Inclusive Education. This is a full-time, permanent teaching role with a fixed-term appointment to the Curriculum Leader position concluding in 2030. The Curriculum Leader supports the mission of Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale through leadership of the Secondary learning and teaching program by ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership. Guided by Catholic values, you’ll demonstrate authentic leadership that nurtures faith, compassion and community. Your ability to model integrity, foster relationships and create an inclusive, supportive environment will be key to the ongoing success of both students and staff. Requirements

  • Registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Extensive classroom experience in Inclusive Education
  • Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum
  • Deep understanding of QCAA Senior Secondary requirements
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others
  • Proven ability to build collaborative teams
  • Proven ability to translate data into meaningful improvement
  • Working with children checks and background referencing
