This position involves performing professional work providing teaching and/or training services to students with disabilities, typically in a school setting. The role requires developing, implementing, and assessing instructional strategies to ensure student engagement, creating lesson plans aligned with standards and IEP goals, and providing differentiated instruction for academic, daily living, social, self-management, self-advocacy, and vocational skills. The teacher will also serve as a case manager, supervise instructional assistants, collaborate with related service personnel, and communicate effectively with families and community partners. Adherence to all federal, state, and division mandates related to special education procedures is essential.
