Requirements

  • Requires ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in education, curriculum and instructional design, or any related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
  • Requires a minimum of three (3) years of related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting deadlines and updating curricula in a timely fashion. Must be organized and forward-thinking, supplying teachers with accurate syllabi and sufficient time to follow them.
  • Working with teachers, school directors, and subject experts, curriculum developers must build strong communication skills not only to complete their duties in a timely fashion but also to relay information clearly to everyone involved.
  • May help organize physical and digital resources for instructors and trainees and provide manuals and guidelines on how to use online training material.
  • Follow up with trainees and instructors after each course and collect feedback.
  • Assists with other department functions as assigned.
