About The Position

The Curbside Team Member, also described as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and supports a convenient, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders quickly and accurately, preparing and staging items, and helping customers at the Meijer Pickup area, including collecting payment. The position works with technology and store teams to ensure orders are ready for pickup and operations run smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area by accurately fulfilling orders and collecting payment.
Greet customers courteously in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly by partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
