About The Position

The Meijer Curbside Team Member, also described as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps provide an accurate, friendly, and convenient pickup experience. The role involves selecting and verifying products throughout the store, preparing and staging orders, and supporting customers during curbside pickup, including collecting payment. Team members receive training and may support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, remarkable service in the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
Greet customers in person and by phone, respond to their questions, and address their needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag items according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
