Part Time Evening Weekend Curbside Shopper
About The Position
The Curbside Shopper performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s digital shopping initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld scanner, moving orders to the staging area, and packaging orders according to standard operating procedures. Shoppers work to meet productivity and service-level targets while providing friendly service and following club policies and safety procedures. The position also supports inventory and replenishment coordination, processes returns, maintains an organized and clean OMNI/SFC work area, and handles damaged or spoiled goods according to procedures. Team members may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements
- Previous order-pulling experience is preferred.
- Big-box or wholesale retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete orders promptly and meet productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
- Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
- Keep the OMNI/SFC area clean, neat, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard and maintaining storage bins.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code and safety standards.
- Provide friendly service, address or escalate member concerns, and contribute to a safe, positive, inclusive team environment.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
