About The Position

The Curbside Shopper, also referred to as a Digital Clerk, fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and creates a convenient, accurate pickup experience. The role involves working throughout the store to select, scan, verify, and bag products, then store and stage orders for pickup. The shopper provides friendly customer service in person and by phone, collects payment during the carside experience, follows food safety and bagging standards, and keeps the curbside area clean and ready for customers. Training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience preferred.
Past cashier experience preferred.
Past online ordering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Fulfill online customer orders accurately and efficiently throughout the shift using the daily workflow dashboard.
Provide courteous, friendly service at the curbside pickup area and during the carside experience, including collecting payment.
Greet customers in person and by phone and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly by partnering with leadership when needed.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag them according to bagging standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
