About The Position

The Curbside Clerk (Digital Clerk) fulfills customers’ online curbside orders and helps provide a smooth, friendly pickup experience. The role involves shopping orders throughout the store, accurately scanning and verifying products, bagging items according to standards, and staging orders safely and correctly. The clerk serves customers at the curbside pickup area, collects payment, answers questions, and works with store leadership to resolve concerns. The position also includes keeping the pickup area clean and ready, following food safety guidelines, and supporting other tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
At least 1 year of experience.
Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
Able to follow procedures efficiently and consistently.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail experience.
Past cashier experience.
Past online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous service at the curbside pickup area by accurately fulfilling orders and collecting payment.
Greet customers in person and by phone, and respond to their questions and needs.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, store team members, and leadership.
Resolve customer concerns promptly, partnering with leadership when needed.
Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
Select items throughout the store, scan and verify products, and bag them according to standards.
Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for pickups.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
