About The Position

As an Event Supervisor, you will serve as the main point of contact for groups using the Coliseum. Your role is to provide a welcoming presence, ensure the group has what they need, and offer support throughout the event. This is an on-call position with varied shifts based on scheduled events, offering the opportunity to select which community event to supervise, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. The position requires weekend and evening hours, with schedules varying based on the needs of each event. There is no guaranteed number of hours, and scheduling is based solely on operational needs and availability. As such, there may be periods when no work is scheduled.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills demonstrated with confidence and respect.
  • Available to work weekends and evenings.
  • Sensitive to special needs and cultural differences.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience coordinating event preparations preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities
