About The Position

Big Al’s is seeking enthusiastic and dependable part-time Culinary Team Members to work in a fast-paced, scratch-kitchen environment in Meridian, Idaho. Team members help prepare and cook food safely and efficiently, maintain a clean kitchen, and contribute to a welcoming, energetic team. The role is listed at $18.00–$20.00 per hour and requires availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays. Requirements

Knowledge of Micros, KDS, or Compeat, or the ability to learn these systems quickly.
Ability to follow recipes without taking shortcuts.
Commitment to kitchen safety.
Ability to work well with others and contribute positively to the team.
Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certification.
Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to spend substantial time standing, bend, reach, and push; regularly lift up to 50 pounds, with team lifting for loads over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Keep the dish pit and kitchen clean, including sweeping and mopping.
Prepare vegetables, dough, and party food.
Cook meals on the line quickly and safely.
Ensure plates are properly presented before they leave the kitchen.
Follow recipes and help minimize food waste.
Follow kitchen food-safety rules.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team.
