About The Position

Performs a variety of tasks to assure residents receive timely, attractive, high quality, satisfying food and snacks.

Follow oral directions.
Follow written directions.
Set up trays and tables.
Serve in dining room.
Serve on tray line.
Serve trays.
Bus trays.
Pour and cover beverages.
Assisting in preparing and covering food.
Clean work area.
Assist in proper care and use of kitchen equipment.
Attend in-service training programs for Food Service/Culinary staff.
Work in other Hospitality areas, such as Housekeeping and Laundry, when called upon to do so.
Observe infection control procedures related to the Culinary/Dining Services Department.
Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
Understand therapeutic diets.
Follow facility safety programs.
Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
Assume accountability for data contained in the Staff Handbook.
Relate to residents, families, and staff in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.
Meet meal schedules.
Understand and comply with the Corporate Compliance Program.
Know, understand and exemplify the Mission and Values of Jennings: Respect, Compassion, Community, Discovery of Potential and Celebration of Life.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
