About The Position

Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, an Ebenezer community, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join their team in Wyoming, MN. This role is responsible for dining room and to-go meal service to residents in a 51-unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community. The schedule is on-call/casual with day/evening shifts, requiring the employee to pick up at least three shifts per month, including two weekend shifts. The community offers a small-town feel with opportunities for growth, and the staff is dedicated to promoting longer, healthier lives.

Responsibilities

Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting.
Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction.
Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
