About The Position

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure the highest quality food production, sanitation standards, and team performance. This role supervises culinary staff, coordinates work assignments, supports menu and recipe development, and ensures compliance with all company policies and gaming regulations. The position plays a key leadership role in maintaining operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight (8) years of culinary management experience in a large, multi-outlet casino/hotel environment
  • Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage planning and production procedures
  • Demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Ability to secure and maintain NE Gaming License
  • Food Handler, ServSafe Certification, TIPS Alcohol Certification and others as required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and distribute workload among culinary team members to ensure efficient operations
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to culinary staff
  • Manage team schedules to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Ensure compliance with required training, certifications, and work card requirements
  • Develop menu items, recipes, and production guides
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house leadership to promote food safety and service excellence
  • Oversee event and group setup and breakdown, assigning duties as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards across culinary operations
  • Ensure compliance with department and company policies, internal controls, and government regulations
  • Participate in and promote safety meetings and periodic training sessions
  • Foster positive team member and guest relations
  • Present a professional appearance at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
