About The Position

NorBella Prior Lake, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is hiring a Culinary Assistant/Server for its 40-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The role assists with food preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while helping create an environment that promotes resident well-being. The position is part-time on afternoon/evening shifts from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; holidays and every other weekend are required. The wage is $15.50–$20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
• Must possess strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up room trays and dining-room tables.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Pour and cover beverages.
• Assist with preparing and covering food.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
• Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
• Soak, scrub, scrape, and wash soiled dishes.
