About The Position

NorBella Prior Lake, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our team! NorBella Prior Lake is located in Prior Lake, MN, resting between agricultural fields and residential neighborhoods northwest of Lower Prior Lake. This quaint setting provides a peaceful lifestyle while remaining convenient for visiting family and friends. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 40-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. NorBella Prior Lake is a growing community with a fun, caring, and passionate team. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Full-Time Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour Are you compassionate towards others? Requirements

Large volume cooking experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to divide or multiply recipes to meet the quantity needs for service.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
