About The Position

NorBella Savage, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our team! NorBella Savage is located in Savage, MN, just off Egan Drive next to a nice residential neighborhood and community park. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 40-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Requirements

Large volume cooking experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
